    Housebreak in Ajni, Rs 4 lakh booty stolen

    Nagpur: Few unidentified miscreants sneaked into a house in Shrihari Nagar 2 and decamped the gold ornaments and cash collectively worth Rs 4 lakh on Tuesday. The incident occurred under Ajni police station.

    According to police sources, accompanied by family, the complainant, Suresh Sadashiv Kusram (50), a resident of Plot No. 16 Shailesh Decoration, Shrihari Nagar 2 had gone to Wardha to attend a family function between 7 am and 9.30 pm. In the meantime some unidentified miscreants sneaked into his house by breaking the latch of the main door and swept away the valuables to the tune of Rs 4 lakh.

    The burglary came to the fore when, Suresh returned home in the night, only to find the door opened and his house in ransacked state.

    Based on the complaint lodged by Suresh, Ajni police have registered a case under Sections 454, 380 of the IPC and started the probe.
