Defence Pension Adalat to be held on July 30-31

Nagpur: A two-day camp of Defence Pension Adalat will be held on July 30 and 31, 2015 at Urvashi Hall in the vicinity of Vayu Sena Nagar, Nagpur. It will be inaugurated at 9.30 am on July 30.

The said pension court camp, being held under the auspices of Defence Accounts Controller (Air Force), New Delhi, is aimed at sorting out the grievances of pensioners of defence services. So, the grievances of all pensioners of Air Force will be redressed accordingly.

The inaugural function will be prominently attended by AOC-in-C, Maintenance Command, Vayu Sena Nagar, Air Marshal Jagjeet Singh, VSM; Controller General of Defence Accounts S S Mohanti, Indian Defence Accounts Services; Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Pension) Allahabad, Station Commandant, Guards Kamptee, top officials of civil services, representatives of major nationalized banks and officers of various Zilla Sainik Boards.

Addl Controller of Defence Accounts Dr Sudeep Kumar Bhadra, IDAS, who is also the nodal officer at Nagpur has appealed to all pensioners under the jurisdiction of Vayu Sena Nagar, Nagpur to attend the Pension Adalat and derive benefit out of it.
For the convenience of defence service pensioners, suitable arrangement of conveyance from Nagpur railway station and ST bus stand to the venue at Vayu Sena Nagar has been made, informed a press note
