    Crime Branch raids Bagdi’s “Worli gambling den” in Snehnagar

    Nagpur: Unit 3 of Crime Branch on Sunday raided notorious gambling den owner Ajay alias Ajju Bagdi’s “Worli gambling den” running in a flat in Snehnagar and arrested 8 accused.

    According to sources, the sleuths of Unit 3 were on patrolling duty when they received secret tip about a gambling den running at flat No. C1 in Varad Complex located in Snehnagar. Acting swiftly on the information the squad comprising PI Vinod Chaudhary, API Yogesh Chaudhary, ASI Rafiq Khan, Constables Ramchandra Karemore, Prashant Lande, Anup Sahu, Shailesh Patil, Arun Dharme, Tappulaal Chute, Satendra Yadav, Sharif Sheikh and Firoz Khan raided the flat and discover eight person engaged in “Worli gambling”.

    Besides arresting accused identified as Satish Sudhakar Bagde, a resident of Satranjipura, Prakash Narayan Sapdhare, a resident of Futala Slum, Mukesh Shivnarayan Pathre, a resident of Savitribai Phule nagar, Rajesh Tukaram Tekade, a resident of Pachpaoli, Bablu Sukhdev Nimje, a resident of Kalamna, Ashutosh Chilledar, a resident of Prashant Nagar, Shubham Matke, a resident of Itwari and Wasdev Hande, a resident of Satranjipura, cops have also confiscated 33 mobile phones, laptop, printer and other materials worth Rs 1.69 lakh.

    The raid was executed under the guidance of Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime), Nilesh Bharne, DCP (Crime) Gajanan Rajmane and ACP (Crime) Sudhir Nandanwar.

    The prime accused Ajay Mangalchand Bagdi and his close aide Ramkumar Khemka are reportedly absconding.
