Nagpur: Gattikhadan police have rounded up a Mankapur based lawn owner for allegedly threatening and harassing a SNDL employee by posing as a cop on Thursday
The accused has been identified as Sayyad Ayaz, owner of K R C lawn near Mankapur ring road.
As per the obtained details, K R C lawn had a yearlong pending electric bill worth 8 lakhs. When SNDL team had approached him three months back, he expressed his financial crises and sought some more time to pay the debt. Instead of paying the actual amount, he gave cheque worth Rs 50,000 to SNDL team which was later bounced alleged, team SNDL.
Despite regular warnings, Ayaz didn’t paid the dues, thus SNDL team snapped the power of his lawn on January 10.
Following the incident SNDL employee Aashish Ramesh Muttemwar received a call from a person claiming to be PI Shinde on Thursday afternoon. The cop sought explanation that how can SNDL snapped the power and also allegedly threatened him with dire consequences, alleged Muttemwar.
However, while identifying the number is revealed that, the number was registered with Sayyad Ayaz, himself.
SNDL alleged that, it was Sayyad who called and threatened Muttemwar, as he had threaten their employee in past too.
