    Burglars decamp with booty worth 3.36 lakh

    Nagpur : An unidentified burglar broke into a house under the jurisdiction of Kalmana police station and decamped with booty worth Rs 3.36 lakh. Police have registered a case on the basis of a complaint by the victim Raghunath Gangadhar Bisne, 65, a resident of Pethe Layout, Om Sainagar.

    According to the information received, around 6.15 pm on Friday, when Raghunath was not at home, his wife locked the house and went out for some work.

    Meanwhile, an unidentified accused broke open the lock of the main door and entered his house. He broke the lock of the cupboard and locker and fled after taking a large amount of gold and silver jewelery and cash amounting to Rs 3.36 lakh.

    When Bisne’s wife returned home at around 7.45 pm, she found out that the house had been burgled. She informed Raghunath about the incident. Raghunath lodged a complaint with the police. Police have registered a case against an unidentified accused and launched an investigation in the case.
