    3 woman caught red-handed while stealing cash of a bus passenger

    Nagpur: Three women were caught redhanded by passengers when they attempted to steal cash from a bag of a passenger, Mauda police officials said. The accused have been identified as Soni Rajesh Rokde (45), Manju Raju Haagale (22), Nandini Ravi Mankar (27), all residents of Rahate Nagar, Rameshwari Road.

    According to police, the complainant boarded in a MSRTC bus at Mauda for Shahabur on Saturday. During the journey, the women attempted to steal cash from her bag.

    The accused were caught red-handed by the bus passengers.

    On the basis of complaint given by Namita Mahipal Shambharkar, a resident of Udapur, Ramtek, an offence under Sections 379 and 34 of Indian Penal Code was registered by Mauda police.
