In a bizarre incident, a youth, his parents and an accomplice forcibly pushed a 17-year old girl in their car and kidnapped her by doling out a marriage promise. The incident occurred in Ajni area on Saturday night. All the four accused have been booked.
According to police, the accused Amit Arvind Tayade (20), his parents and the accomplice forcibly pushed the 17-year old girl, daughter of the 39-year complainant and resident of Ajni, into their car (MH-31/CP 878) and kidnapped her with a promise of arranging her marriage.
Based on a complaint lodged by the relative of the girl, Ajni API Dhobe has booked all the four accused under Sections 363, 366(A), 34 of the IPC and investigating the matter further.
