A 13-year-old girl was molested on Sunday by a motorcyclist while the girl was on her way to meet her friend. Cops have arrested the youth.
According to information, the 13-year-old victim was on her bicycle to meet her friend when the accused Shailesh Bhojraj Yadav (25), a resident of Neeri Colony, stalked her and stopped her near Shivalay Apartment, Pande layout, Khamla. The accused then touched her in an indecent manner and molested her.
On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim, Pratap Nagar police registered an offence under Sections 341, 354 (a) (1) (f) (b) of the IPC read with sub sections 8 and 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 and arrested the accused Shailesh.
