Nagpur: In major breakthrough, Crime Branch of Nagpur Police arrested a hardcore criminal Pravin Dattuji Divte in city who was absconding from Yavatmal.
The criminal was wanted in connection with 5-6 murder cases and other serious crimes. Divte was absconding since the past few months. In a well-planned operation, the goon was nabbed in front of Parate Sabhagruha on Khamla Road. The movement of the absconding criminal was tipped off by the informants and acting on the tip off, Police Inspectors Anil Katkade, Chandrashekhar Dhole, Girish Tathod, constables Ravi Gawande, Prashant Deshmukh, and others nabbed Pravin Divte.
The hardcore criminal was wanted in Yavatmal for murders, attempt to murder and several other serious crimes. The arrested goon is likely to hand over Yavatmal police soon.
