The sensational Wasankar group fraud case took a new turn after the investigating team dug out hidden property owned by the Wasankar family worth 28 crore. This benami property was in thenames of many close friends and relatives including an automobile trader. The police have now become active to nab them.
The police has already seized property worth 18 crore which has made other investors active who refrained from lodging complainst hitherto.
According to sources, a big sum of Wasankar’s black property is being hidden by a builder and a known chef of the city. The chef’s brothr-in-law is said to be Wasankar’s manager and the chef is said to have started a chain of restaurants with the said money.
