Nagpur: A huge water tank atop a concrete structure in Hansapuri area has burst opened on Thursday morning, creating a large pool of water around. This tank has been the prime source of water supply in the area.
Sources said there was a leak in water tank which suddenly resulted into a huge opening . As a result the water forced its way out, collapsing the tank.
A video grab of the water tank is in possession of Nagpur Today. The video shows the water flooding out of the tank in full gush as the people looked on. The water pool has partially merged the vehicles parked around the tank.
The cause of tank collpase is yet to be ascertained. Further details are awaited.
