After ‘Tamma tamma’ was rehashed for ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, more films suit with ‘Gulaabi aankhen’ in ‘Noor’ and ‘Tu cheez badi hai mast’ and ‘Chatur naar’ in ‘Machine’, now ‘Zubi Zubi’ from Mithun Chakraborty’s ‘Dance Dance’ has also been recreated for ‘Naam Shabana.’

The original track featured in the 1987 film ‘Dance Dance’ that featured Mithun Chakraborty, Smita Patil, Mandakini, Shakti Kapoor and Amrish Puri in prominent roles. The song was sung by a young Alisha Chinai and the music was composed by Bappi Lahiri.

The iconic dance number has been recreated by music director Rochak Kohli and sung by Sukriti Kakar. The song is titled ‘Zubi zubi’ and has Taapsee Pannu on the lookout for someone at a masquerade party, before meeting an unidentified person. ‘Zubi zubi’ retains the flavour of the classic dance number and adds a dash of EDM to it.

‘Naam Shabana’ is slated to release on March 31, 2017. The film is a spin-off of Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Baby’, and has Taapsee Pannu in the lead role, along with appearances from Akshay, Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpayee and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
