Nagpur: A relative is alleged to have raped his niece who had come to his house to spend the summer vacations. The incident occurred in Koradi area on May 23, 2015 at around 1 pm. The accused is identified as Raju alias Uday Harikeshav Das aged 35 years and a resident of Koradi area.
According to police sources, accused Raju alias Uday Harikeshav Das a resident of Koradi, in order to satiate his lust, he committed the crime of rape with the 23-year-old daughter of his close relative who had come to his house to spend the summer vacations.
While speaking to Nagpur Today, Assistant Police Inspector Kawade of Koradi Police Station said that the victim has alleged the accused Raju had raped her at knife point. On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim, Assistant Police Inspector Kawade of Koradi Police Station has registered a case under section 376 (2) (F), 506 (B) of Indian Penal Code. Further investigations are on by Koradi Police.
