Two women maids rob employer of her booty valued at Rs 1.65 lakh

Nagpur: Two women maids cleaned off the employer’s house with gold-silver jewelleries and cash collectively valued at Rs 1,65,000. The two maids first stole the keys of an almirah where the booty was kept and at an opportune time, relieved the owner of valuables. The theft occurred between 21.02.15 and 27.02.15 in Sadar area.

The employer of the accused maids, Nina Sunil Chandekar (52), resident of Plot No. 126(A), Mehta Layout, Rajnagar, on 21.02.15 found that the keys of almirah were missing. Subsequently, Nina procured duplicate case on 27.02.15 and opened the almirah. She developed cold feet when she found the gold-silver ornaments and cash of Rs 3000 collectively valued at Rs 1,65,000 missing from locker of the almirah. Nina suspected that the booty was stolen by the two accused women maids identified as Chandabai and Rekhabai with help original keys. A complaint in this connection was lodged with Sadar Police Station.

Sadar PSI Pandav has registered an offence under Section 380 against the two accused women maids and searching for them.
