Two women booked in fraud cases at Lakadganj, Pratap Nagar

Nagpur News : Lakadganj and Pratap Nagar police recorded two fraud cases under their jurisdiction on Wednesday. Lakadganj police booked a woman for allegedly duping a company of Rs 3.76 lakh in the month of February.

According to information, Sheetal Dnyanesh Goel visited Ms Mascot Motors at Telephone Exchange Square on February 11 and booked a red colour Dio scooterette by paying Rs 1000. However, she returned to the company the next day and cancelled her booking citing some family issues. The complainant Laxmansingh Tejsinghrao Bhosle cancelled the booking and returned her a cheque of Rs 1000. But, the accused Sheetal gave wrong name on the cheque as Sheetal D Gohel and filled a cheque of Rs 3.76 lakh for herself without anyone’s knowledge. The complainant discovered the fraud when Sheetal withdrew the money from Abhyuday Bank.

On the complainant of Laxmansingh, Lakadganj police registered a case of fraud against Sheetal and started the investigations.

In another case, a middle-aged man lodged a complaint with Pratap Nagar Police station against a woman who allegedly duped him of Rs 3 lakh in a land issue. Pratap Nagar police registered a case under Section 420 of fraud against the woman and launched a search team to nab her.

The complainant Mahesh Vasantrao Belkhode (40), a resident Hudkeshwar Road, made a property deal with the accused Sunita Laxman Pakhale, a resident of Bhilai, Chhatishgarh on July 8, 2013. Mahesh bought a plot at Sainath Nagar, Jaihind Society, Parsodi, Bhamti. The complainant paid Rs 3 lakh to her but the accused later started avoiding him. Later, Mahesh discovered that Sunita sold her house and had Ran away. Pratap Nagar police are searching for accused.
