Nagpur: Two minor boys have gone missing and reportedly kidnapped from different areas in the past 24 hours.
In the first incident, the minor boy Shahjad (15), son of Noor Mohd Hafizuddin Mujawar (38), resident of Rajiv Nagar, MIDC, went missing after he left home around 9 am on Wednesday. Shahjad was scolded and beaten by his father for bunking school frequently. The scolding and beating did not go down well with Shahjad and he left home angrily and did not return even after lapse of considerable time. His father and other relatives searched Shahjad at all possible places but could not find him. Finally, a missing complaint was lodged with MIDC police.
The Lady PSI Yadav, following directives of Supreme Court that if any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, has registered a case under Section 363 of IPC and searching to trace the missing Shahjad.
Similarly, another minor boy Fardin Usman (14), son of Sheikh Firoz Sheikh Hafiz (42), resident of Dalalpura, Dahibazaar, Lakadganj, left home without informing other family members at about 7 pm on Thursday. Since then the boy has gone missing. A search to find missing Fardin Usman proved futile.
Lakadganj PSI N D Gosavi, following directives of Supreme Court that if any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, has registered an FIR under Section 363 of IPC and mounted a search to find the 14-year old boy.
