Two brothers attack husband-wife duo with stones over house rent issue in Pachpaoli

: Police have booked two brothers on the charges of bloody attack on a young husband-wife duo over the issue of house rent. The incident occurred in Lalganj area under the jurisdiction of Pachpaoli Police Station on Wednesday night.

According to police, the complainant couple, Nandini and Vikrant Ninave (23 & 26), is staying as tenant in the house of Pandurang Bhagwan Pathrabe (45) and Rameshwar Bhagwan Pathrabe (40), residents of Lalganj, behind Police Post, Nagpur since the past one and a half year. A dispute between Pathrabes and Ninaves is going on over the issue of house rent. However, the dispute took an ugly turn at about 9.15 pm on Wednesday when Pandurang locked the house of Ninave. Shocked by the act, Vikrant and Nandini went to the house of Pathrabe and asked the reason for locking their house. The wordy duel between the landlord and tenant soon turned bloody as Pandurang and Rameshwar attacked both the husband-wife duo with stones. The accused inflicted bloody injuries on legs, hands and faces of Vikrant and Nandini forcing the nearby residents rush them to Mayo Hospital.

Pachpaoli Senior PSI Mokase has registered an offence under Sections 326, 34 of the IPC against Pandurang and Rameshwar Pathrabe and probing the matter further.
