When two boys went missing from the Government Remand Home, many serious doubts were raised. The missing boys are identified as Rudra Kanojia aged 8-years-old and Karan Dayaram Mahto aged 9-years-old.

Both these boys went missing from the Remand Home at around 11:00 am of January 26, 2015. Even after the lapse of two days, no information about their whereabouts is known to the authorities.

According to police sources, the Remand Home is situated at Angulimal Nagar. Both the boys Rudra Kanojia and Karan Dayaram Mahto were committed by court to this Remand Home.

When these two boys suddenly disappeared on January 26, 2015, the Warden of the Remand Home Moreshwar Zade aged 45 years and a resident of Uday Nagar, Hudkeshwar Road, lodged a complaint with Jaripatka Police Station. The Jaripatka Police has registered a case under section 363 of Indian Penal Code of Kidnapping against the unknown accused.

While speaking exclusively with Nagpur Today, In-Charge of Jaripatka Police Station, Sr. Police Inspector Deepak Khobragade said that we have taken this case seriously since it is case of two missing children. He added that they have formed several squads to search for the missing children. They claimed that they have searched the Bus-Stands, Railway Station, and all such places where these children could have gone. With the squads doing their work of searching the missing boys, Police Inspector Khobragade is hopeful of soon locating the missing boys.
