Nagpur News : Two youths were arrested while seven others were booked under attempt to murder charges for attacking three youths on Wednesday under the jurisdiction of Gittikhadan police station.
The arrested accused have been identified as Sushil Michael Wilson (27) and Amit Baliram Maldongre, aged 20 while the booked accused have been identified as Pravin Pandurang Shawar (25), Sachin Rajkumar Jivne (23), Rishabh Ambadas Kodape (20), Akshay Rameshwar Maldongre (20), Rahul Gajanan Mahure (22), Nilesh Kanojiya and Sudhir Wilson.
Police said Dinesh Chintaman Harode (25), a resident of Panchasheel Nagar was sitting with his friends Ewan Harish Raut (24) and Rakesh Gajbhiye at Panchasheel Nagar, near Panchasheel Square Zenda when the accused approached the three friends. Sudhir stabbed Ewan in his chest with a sharp-edged knife-like weapon and injured him seriously. His friends also were attacked with wooden rods and bricks and sustained minor injuries.
On the basis of the complaint by Dinesh, Gittikhadan police have registered an offence under Sections 143, 147, 148, 149, 307, and 504 of the IPC and arrested Sushil and Amit.
