Nagpur
: Faced with numerous complaints over traffic hurdles, cops have “banned” skating camps on roads being organised by many clubs during summer at various places in the city.

The Traffic Police had received complaints regarding skating camps being organised at six places across the city. Acting on the complaints, a team of traffic cops led by API Bhosle and comprising PSIs Dighole, Pande and Sayam, took rounds of the skating camps and directed the organisers (clubs) to immediately stop the activity as it creates hurdles to smooth flow of traffic in morning hours. “Running of skating camps on road without necessary facilities as well as creating traffic hurdles is against the law. Moreover, the clubs charge ‘hefty’ fees from the trainees and dupe parents in the name of skating camps,” cops clarified while “banning” the skating camps on roads.
