Nagpur: A 17-year old girl, who had gone to R S Mundle Arts and Commerce College, Dharampeth for admission, was abducted by a youth on Wednesday afternoon.
The teenage girl had left her home between 11.30 am and 3.30 pm on Wednesday and went to R S Mundle Arts and Commerce College for admission purpose. However, since then she did not return home and went missing. The girl’s parents suspected the accused Krunal Balu Barde (21), residing in the same area, allegedly lured and abducted her.
Bajajnagar PSI M K Sheikh, based on a complaint and as per the directives of Supreme Court that if a minor girl or boy goes missing then the case be treated as that of kidnapping, has registered an offence under Section 363 of the IPC and launched search to trace the girl.
