Tech 2017 : 5 premium smartphones set for price cut up to Rs 11 k

The year is about to end and smartphone makers are trying hard to sell their devices. In the last week of the year, companies like Google, Motorola and others have slashed the prices of their flagship smartphones. So, here are five smartphones that received a price cut in India this week.

Vivo launched the Vivo V7 smartphone in early December this year. However, within the launch of one month the smartphone received a price cut. Launched at Rs 18,990, the smartphone has received a price drop of Rs 2,000 and is now selling at Rs 16,990.

The smartphone comes with a 24MP front camera along with the moonlight glow feature. It comes with a 16MP rear camera and runs Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. The device sports a 5.7-inch HD+ bezel-less display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor.

Another selfie smartphone on our list is the Oppo F3 which has got a price cut this week. Launched in June this year, the smartphone came with a price tag of Rs 19,990. The smartphone has now received a price cut of Rs 3,000 and is now selling at Rs 16,990. The USP of the device is its dual selfie camera. It has a 16MP and 8MP front cameras and a 13MP rear camera.

It runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek 64-bit processor.

The Moto G5S Plus is the first smartphone in the Moto G series to come with a dual rear camera setup. This budget smartphone from Motorola has got a price cut of Rs 1,000. Launched at Rs 15,999, the smartphone is now selling at Rs 14,999.

The smartphone comes with two 13MP modules at the rear end and an 8MP front shooter for selfies. The device comes with a 5.5-inch HD display, 3000mAh battery and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor.

Google’s this year flagship smartphone received a massive price cut this week. The smartphone has got a massive price cut of Rs 11,000. The Google Pixel 2 64GB was launched at Rs 61,000 and is now selling at Rs 49,999 and the 128GB variant which was launched at Rs 70,000 can now be purchased at Rs 58,999.

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and a 5-inch full HD display. It comes with 12.2MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera and is backed by a 2700mAh battery.


Google Pixel 2 XL: Starting at Rs 67,999 (Price cut of Rs 5,000)

The bigger version of Google Pixel 2 — the Pixel 2 XL also received a price drop. Both the storage variants of the smartphone got a price cut of Rs 5,000. The Google Pixel 2 XL 64GB which the company launched at Rs 73,000 is now available at Rs 67,999, and the 128GB which came with a price tag of Rs 82,000 is now selling at Rs 76,999.
The Pixel 2 XL sports a 6-inch QHD+ display and is backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 3520mAh battery with fast charging. Running Android 8.0 Oreo the smartphone comes with 12.2MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
