Nagpur: An unidentified teacher not only outraged modesty of a 10-year old hostel girl but branded her face with a red-hot spoon when she protested his nasty act. The accused teacher, who had tormenting the girl for months, has been booked after a delayed complaint.
According to police, the 10-year old girl of Jaripatka-based hostel, in her complaint said that the accused teacher, who is not identified, indulged in obscene acts and molested her from June 15, 2016 to March 30, 2017. When the kid girl protested the nasty acts of the teacher, he branded her face with a hot spoon and thus caused severe burns. But surprisingly, a complaint in this regard was lodged by the girl on Friday. The reason behind the long delay could not be ascertained.
Jaripatka police constable Kamalakar, acting on the complaint, has booked the accused teacher under Sections 354, 354(A), 324 of the IPC read with Sub-Sections 7, 8, 9(D), 10 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and started investigations into the matter.
