It is quite common to see big Bollywood films clashing at the box-office. Joining the list of big-ticket films locking horns with each other is Shah Rukh Khan’s next with Imtiaz Ali and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Crack’.
was announced a few days ago that the Shah Rukh-Anushka Sharma starrer, the working title of which is ‘The Ring’, is scheduled to release on August 11, 2017. For those who don’t remember, Akshay had announced his project with Neeraj Pandey ‘Crack’ in August this year. The Neeraj Pandey-directed film too was announced as an Independence Day weekend release.
Box-office clashes are hardly beneficial as the films in question eat into each other’s businesses in most cases. It remains to be seen whether the SRK-Akshay face-off will be averted or not.
Interestingly, before ‘The Ring’, Shah Rukh’s other release ‘Raees’ too will clash with Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’ over the Republic Day weekend.
