Nagpur: VIA Lady Entrepreneurs Wing organised a talk by Dr.P B Kale, Director, MGIRI on skill development for motivating ladies to involve themselves into any economic activities.
Earlier, Mrs.Pragati Gokhale, Senior scientific Officer, MGIRI also delivered a session on digital marketing and Website Development. She mentioned that all Women entrepreneurs do not need to spend money on building website for their business promotion individually. She mentioned that one can get listed on business directories for promoting their business.
Mrs.Gokhale suggested the use of various social media networks like Linked in, facebook for promoting your business .She also suggested to take the benefit of websites like market mirchi, rural haat for selling your products online. This session was followed by a presentation by Dr.P B kale.
Dr.P B Kale, Director, MGIRI informed the audience about many developed technologies that are available in MGIRI for Rural enterprise and entrepreneurs. Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Rural Industrialization (MGIRI) conducts regular training programs at wardha for the citizens of India to take benefit of all newly developed technologies and utilize the same for setting up their business and earning profits.
Dr. P B kale emphasised that MGIRI aims to accelerate the process of Rural Industrialization in the country along the lines of Gandhian vision of sustainable and self reliant village economy .He mentioned that MGIRI provides support to upgrade the products of rural industry so that they gain wide acceptability in the local and global markets.
Dr.Kale further informed the sectors in which training is provided to budding entrepreneurs. He mentioned that Training can be availed in Bio-Processing & Herbal Division, Khadi & Textile Division, Chemical Industries Division, Rural Craft & Engineering Division, and Rural Energy & Infrastructure Division
Mr.Jai Kishore Changani, M Sc, PhD from Bio processing and herbal division, MGIRI was also present for this program. Floral welcome of Dr.P B kale was done by Mrs Vandana Sharma, President, VIA LEW. Floral welcome of Mrs. Pragati Gokhale was done by Past president Mrs. Prafullata Rode and Founder president Mrs. Sarla Kamdaar handed over bouquet to Mr.Jai Changani to welcome him. Program was conducted by Secretary Mrs. Shachi Mallick. The Program was attended by large number of entrepreneurs, students and housewives. The second series of this workshop shall be announced shortly. Next program of VIA-LEW will be held on 21st August (friday).
