In an atrocious act, a group of six hooligans entered a young woman’s house, molested and thrashed her and other family members. The accused even threatened to kill the woman and her family members. The incident was reported from Kalamna area on Sunday afternoon. Police have arrested all the six accused. The reason for the outrageous act could not be immediately ascertained.
The group of six accused Jitu Sushil Dhurve (24), Niyaz Ahmed Mohammed Iqbal (19), Mohammed Sajid Kamruddin Ansari (19), Imran Asfaque Sheikh (20), Sajik Ansari Mohammed Khurshid (19), and Mohammed Mustafa Mohammed Ayub (20), all residents of Nagpur, burst into the house of a 22-year old woman in Kalamna area and resorted to molesting her. The accused severely thrashed her and other family members with bare hands, kicks and a stick. While leaving the house the six hooligans threatened to kill the young woman and her family. Baffled by the attack, the woman rushed to Kalamna Police Station and lodged a complaint in this connection.
Kalamna API Thakur registered an offence against the six accused under Sections 143, 147, 148, 149, 323, 354, 452, 506 of Indian Penal Code and arrested them.
