Nagpur: The Sindhi Panchayat has passed a resolution wherein the tardy brides and the grooms would have pay Rs 5000 fine each for reaching late at the venue. Though wedding is one of those days where bride and groom lose track of time, the Sindhi panchayat thinks that discipline should be maintained in these occasions.
Moreover, the Sindhi panchayat has also passed a resolution that prohibits the bride from dancing in public. The resolution says that bride may dance but it should be within the confines of the venue and that too only in the presence of her near and dear ones.
The resolutions passed by the Nagpur chapter of Sindhi panchayat are in harmony with resolutions passed by the national convention of Sindhi panchayat held at Bhopal.
