Nagpur: In a jam packed court, finally the most awaited trial of Shreesurya investment began at 3 pm before the District and Sessions Judge Munghate in Nagpur.
One of the investors Shriram Balkrishna Dagwar, retired lecturer from Government Polytechnic College stood in the witness box. He told the court that he had invested nearly Rs 44 lakhs which he had received after his retirement, in name of his wife Mandakini, and two sons Ashish and Shital Dagwar.
Batteries of lawyers including senior Lawyer Adv Subhash Ghare, Adv Chandrashekhar Jaltare, Adv Ranjit Sardey, Adv Bhangade brothers. Adv Deshpande appeared for the accused persons.
Special Government pleader Adv Vijay Kolhe held brief for the state government.
The case has been adjourned for cross examination of the witness Shriram Dagwar on 22/11/17.
