Nagpur: The local political parties seem to be flexing their muscles and raising various issues. While some issues are legitimate, many other issues that they raise are with an ulterior motive. To add to this, the youth wings of many political parties create ruckus and stage agitations to press for some demands, many of which are illegitimate or even foolhardy demands.
In a similar manner, the Youth Wing of Shiv Sena led by Nitin Tripathi staged an agitation at Government Polytechnic College in Sadar on August 21, 2015. When he realized that he was getting the desired attention, he went to the Regional Office of Joint Director of Technical Education, Sadar Nagpur along with some students and staged a protest. The activists of Youth Wing of Shiv Sena shouted slogans against the administration and against the Director of Technical Education for denying students admission.
The allegations of the activists of Shiv Sena Yuva Morcha, claiming that because of some glitch in the computer selection system, some deserving students were denied seats in the Diploma in Pharmacy is totally baseless. The allegation was that 35000 to 40000 forms were issued for 19000 seats which were available.
