Nagpur: Acting on specific information, Old Kamptee police raided a lodge and busted a sex racket being run from the place. Two men have been arrested and three women were rescued in the raid.
A team of Old Kamptee Police Station raided the Shantinivas Lodge, situated near Kamptee Bus Stand, and arrested two accused Banwari Dagdulal Yadav (57), resident of Yadav Nagar, Kamptee and Pawan Chudaman Daharwale (35), native of Khavasa (MP) and Lodge Manager. The two accused lured three helpless women and pushed them into flesh trade. The accused Daharwale made available a room in the lodge to run the sex racket.
Old Kamptee API Chavan, on the basis of a complaint lodged by API Rajendra Ananda Magdu of Yashodhara Nagar, booked the accused under Section 370 of the IPC read with Sub-Sections 3, 4, 5, 7 of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act and placed them under arrest. The three victimized women were sent to remand home.
