Nagpur: In the changing world scenario with regards to industry and the job market, there is now an overpowering need for skilled workers. However, the definition of ‘skill’ in India, and the world in general, has also changed over recent years. India is relatively young as a nation with around 28 million youth population being added every year.
To accumulate the same, department of Computer Science and Engineering of G.H. Raisoni Academy of Engineering & Technology organized a seminar on Skill Development Program & T.A.A.S Software Demonstrationfor the students of second, third and Final year under the student forum activity.
Speaking on the occasion, KamleshPaunikar. Director, KP Solutions, Nagpurhas enlightened various skilled development programs available.During the presentation, various feature of T.A.A.Ssoftware such as, Student knowledge testby taking Assessment Test, Improving overall technical skills by standard practice questionswasdemonstrated.
The major objective and functions of Skill Development Program include evolving an appropriate skill development framework, removal of disconnect between the demand for and supply of skilled manpower through vocational and technical training, skill up-gradation, building of new skills, Mapping of existing skills and their certification etc. 85 students attended and were benefitted from the program. Prof. SonaliBodkhe, HoD CSE and Prof. Amit Pimpalkarorganized the event.
