Self-styled Secretary of edn society dupes many job seekers

A self-styled Secretary of an education society duped a number of job seekers by appointing them on various posts fraudulently with the forged signature of a renowned personality. Sakkardara police, following the directive of a court, probed the matter under Section 156(3) CrPC and booked the accused.

The accused, Arun Panjabrao Deshmukh (70), resident of Plot no. 118, Old Subhedar Extension, pretended to be Secretary of Citizen Education Society, appointed a number of job seekers on various posts with the help of forged documents of a renowned institute and bogus signature of Ishwarbabu Deshmukh from September 2005 till to date. The accused also misled Government officials and the members of executive committee of the education society through his nefarious activities. One of the victims, Nirmal Dada Kantode (66) of Ayurvedic Layout, Sakkardara, filed an application directly to a court for a probe. Subsequently, the court directed the Sakkardara police to investigate the matter under Section 156(3) of CrPC and initiate further course of action.

Sakkardara WPSI Hirole has now booked the accused self-styled Secretary Arun Panjabrao Deshmukh under Sections 420(B), 419, 420, 482, 170, 465, 467, 468 of the IPC and launched an in-depth investigation into the case.
