Saiva is a short film by Atharva Chandorkar, the young film maker and cinematographer starring Bharathanatiyam Dancer Deepshikha Das.

This film intends to give a completely new experiment with the age old art form of Bharathanatiyam which is usually restricted to the walls of temples and auditoriums. The concept has been etched by Atharva Chandorkar & Deepshikha Das which revolves around a Shiva Bhakta in search of the Supreme. It is the dancer’s Raw Journey to find Shiva through her dance, by discovering elemental clues which take her closer and closer to Shiva.

The Bharathanatiyam video is a new version of the art form which has won enormous appreciation and recognition claimed to be a video in India’s, which is first of its kind.

The entire shooting has been done in Nagpur amidst the forests of Bor, from Wagh Ville Resorts. The team involved Director and cinematographer Atharva Chandorkar, Deepshikha Das, Asst. Director Mrugnil Chavan and Stylist Punam Waghade. The great team efforts of all have made it possible to make the film ready in a span of 3 days!
