Students Plan internships, educational tours and self study
Nagpur : The Colleges affiliated to Rastrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) will go on Diwali vacations from October 22 to November 22, 2014. Students from various departments every year plan internships or study tours during this period.
This year also many departments of the university have planned up various activities that help the students in their academics. Students of Mass Communication have taken up internships in various media houses in the city. They get to learn and work on hand various aspects of the profession. And many after completion of their internships get job offers too. Similarly, students of fashion designing and other vocational courses do internships during the vacation.
B. Ed and BPed students informed that, their class will be going on educational tour of 15 day’s. During the regular session the students don’t get to properly attend the educational tours. After the tour the students are required to prepare files of the work and observation of the tour.
Some of the B. Com Students said that in Diwali they try to clear their backlogs. We complete our practical files and project files.
Management & Academic meetings
An emergency meeting of Management Council has been called on October 21.A very important Joint meeting of Academic & Management Council meetings is scheduled on October 27. The meeting will decide on the representative from university for the committee which will be scrutinizing the appointed of next regular Vice Chancellor. On October 30, the Senate meeting is also Scheduled.
