Nagpur: Unidentified burglar(s) struck at a country-made liquor shop and decamped with Rs 1.53 lakh in cash in MIDC area in the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.
The miscreants smashed shutter of the country-made liquor shop situated at IC Square, Hingna Road, between 11 pm of Tuesday and 9.30 am of Wednesday and laid their hands on Rs 1.53 lakh kept in the cash counter. The theft came to the notice of owner of the liquor shop Suryapratapsingh Raghuvirsingh Baghel (65) when arrived the next day to open the shop.
MIDC PSI R N Barad has registered a case under Sections 380, 457 of the IPC and searching the miscreants.
