Register your products for profit optimization, says Parlewar, Director MSME

IMG_6133Nagpur: Getting patents is a tool for wealth creation – protect your product, your system, your design or your creation through registering, getting a copy right or a patent, said P.M. Parlewar, Director Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development institute Director.

He said this was vital to the PM’s dream of ‘Make in India’ as well. The PM has envisaged smart cities being built in India which will develop new sectors through new processes – even if the technical know how comes from other countries.

Start ups are of vital importance in this scheme of things and under the new rules even big public sector units have to include ‘Start-ups’ in their tendering process and give them a chance to supply implements or provide services. No more will prior experience be a strict criterion for qualifying.

IMG_6129Mr. Parlewar was speaking at a seminar organized by his office for educating city entrepreneurs and other business people about the importance of protecting their intellectual property rights.

This was a well attended meet held over two days at Hotel Hardeo.

He educated the attendees about the following schemes of MSME –
Mudra loans for start ups
Incubation centres
Public procurement policy 2012
Innovative ideas and
Make in India
The conference was also addressed by Maithili Kowe, District Development Manager, NABARD who spoke about products of her banks for the agri sector; Dr. Ushoshi Guha, Consultant IPR and Johari Assy Director MSME.

Krupal Tumane, Member of Parliament from Ramtek was the guest of Honour.

Tumane invited Nagpur businessmen to come to Ramtek to start new business, start ups etc. He promised all personal help for any enterprising start ups.
