Ram Navami Shhobhayatra enlighten Nagpur city

Despite sudden strong winds followed by rains, Nagpur city  witness a colourful evening with festive fervour as huge colourful floats of the Ram Navami procession was seen moving through the streets on Saturday. Ram Navami is celebrated to mark the birth of Lord Ram.

The city  witnesed tableaus being taken out from Ram Mandir in Ram Nagar in West Nagpur, Poddareshwar Ram Mandir on CA Road in East Nagpur, Baileyshop Motibagh in North Nagpur, and the historical procession from Bhonsale wada.

The procession from Poddareshwar temple was flagged off at 4 pm at the hands of mayor mayor Pravin Datke in the presence of CM Devendra Fadnavis and Union minister Nitin Gadkari.

The procession moved across Hansapuri, Itwari, Mahal, Gandhi Sagar, Cotton Market, Munje Square, Jhansi Rani Square, Variety Square and will return to the temple.
