Nagpur: Taking up various public issues for their immediate redressal by the district administration, the Rajiv Gandhi Vichar Morcha is going to stage ‘dharna-pradarshan’ at the Collectorate here on December 2, 2015, at 10 am, against BJP government in the state and its sleeping administration.
The issues include payment of compensation/ reliefs to the remaining flood-affected of August 13, 2015 belonging to Vijay Nagar, Dharam Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, Navakanya Nagar, Shivshambhu Layout, Om Sai Layout, Durga Nagar, Bholeshwar Nagar, Bhavani Nagar, Shyam Nagar and Punapur (as only 3500 affected have been provided some relief while thousands of the affected are still remaining derived of relief despite repeated requests made to the district administration), check on electricity bills exorbitantly charged by looter SNDL and gunda-attitude of SNDL employees, levying of Rs 3.36 as base rate upto 300 units of power consumption, provision of drinking water supply and gutter-lines in various layouts of the city, regularization of unauthorised layouts, issuance of ownership documents to slum-dwellers, NIT’s apathy, unsolved LBT issue and unfulfillment of big promises made by city BJP leaders among others.
