Police to move Supreme Court, challenge bail to Pallavi Joshi in multicrore Shreesurya scam

 Police have decided to move Supreme Court challenging the High Court’s order granting bail to Pallavi Joshi, wife of Shreesurya investment scam mastermind Sameer Joshi. The police decision comes after a permission by Amravati Legal and Justice Department in this connection.

Amravati police had arrested Shreesurya Group’s Director Sameer Joshi, his wife Pallavi Joshi, agents Mukund Pitale, Mohan Pitale, Shantanu Kurhekar and other four persons on the charges of promising high returns and duping over 600 investors to the tune of crores of rupees. One of the accused has fled to abroad. The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of police has sought help of Interpol for bringing the accused to India. Meanwhile, Pallavi Joshi was granted bail by the High Court. The mastermind of the scam Sameer Joshi has also filed a bail petition in the High Court the hearing of which is going on. On the other hand, after receiving permission from Amravati Legal and Justice Department the Economic Offences Wing has started the process of challenging bail to Pallavi Joshi in Supreme Court.
