While Modi’s convoy was on his way to the venue at Kasturchand Park, it witnessed some protesting moments too. As local Congress leader and former Minister Anees Ahmed made a failed attempt to block Modi’s path, it did not help him much ‘either way’.

When Chopper didn’t fly, Modi had some ‘Chai’

Owing to heavy rains followed by low visibility at Nagpur airport, air traffic controller could not give permission to fly PM’s helicopter to Mouda. A minimum of 1500 metres of visibility is required to let the chopper in the air but the heavy rains brought down the visibility to only 500 metres. Clearly Modi had to wait for good one and half hour. What else could Modi have done except for sipping some hot tea at the airport lounge.
