Piya Bawari adds a touch of modernity to Karwa Chauth!

Karwa Chauth, the age old traditional means of fasting by women to pray for the long lives of their husband, has evolved to the next generation now! Since every other event is meant to be celebrated Karwa Chauth is no exception. To bring more fun and fest around the day, the young and happening ladies gathered to mark a pre-Karwa Chauth event which they fondly nicknamed as Piya Bawari. The event, held at Hotel Centre Point in Ramdaspeth gave this traditional celebration of Karwa Chauth a completely modern avatar.

The ladies entered the venue decked up in stylish yet beautiful attires including Lehangas, Salwaar Suits, Indo-Western dresses, one piece evening gowns, Designer Sarees etc.

The show was hosted by celebrity emcee Mallika Malhotra and Sahil Khan who came all the way from Mumbai. There was a lot of music, dance, mehendi, fashion show, food and everything that our modern Indian Ladies love. It was an evening dedicated to the beautiful ladies. An eye-catching Fashion Show was organized to showcase the latest collections of Preet Boutique. The models set fire on the ramp by their elegant walk displaying the outfits.

The lavish party had several arrangements to keep the guest occupied- Mehandi corner was a hit amongst the ladies as we say mehandi symbolizes married ladies. Karva Chauth and such occasions are an ideal time to spend some quality time with their girlfriends.

It is a good stress-buster and an ideal way to gear up your Diwali celebrations. The party was organized to provide women, who are busy with their lives, an opportunity to celebrate the festival in its true spirit.
