Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering and Technology conducted one week ISTE approved Self Financing Short term Training Program on ‘Smart Antenna System’ from 15th-19th December 2014 organised by the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with ISTE. 32 Faculties from different colleges in and around Nagpur attended it. Dr. RV Kshirsagar, Dean Faculty of Engineering RTMNU and Vice Principal, PCE addressed the inaugural Function of the STTP. Prof S Chaturvedi, HOD, E & C Engg. Deptartment along with Prof VB Bagde, Coordinator of this STTP delivered the introductory speech.
Eminent Personalities from various colleges in Nagpur including VNIT as well as Industry people were invited as guest speakers. Dr GM Asutkar, Dr PL Zade, Prof SS Khade, Dr SW Warade, Dr AG Kothari & SM Moghe from SM Wireless Communications were the invited speakers. One day Industrial Visit to BSNL RTTC, Nagpur has also been organised during the workshop.
STTP concluded with the Valedictory Function and vote of thanks delivered by Prof SI Parihar, Co- Coordinator of this STTP. Dr VM Nanoti, Principal PIET and all the Faculty members of E & C Engg. Dept. also extended their support for making this event successful.
