New Delhi/Mumbai: The Supreme Court has asked the Bombay High Court’s official liquidator to prepare the terms for auctioning Aamby Valley for its approval on June 19.

Sahara chief Subrata Roy undertakes in the court to pay Rs 1,500 crore in the SEBI-Sahara account on or before June 15. Roy furnishes a post-dated cheque of Rs 552 crore to be realised by July 15.

The court warned Roy that he may be sent to jail again if the amount is not paid.

The Supreme Court had last week asked authorities to auction Aamby Valley after the group had failed to deposit Rs 5,000 crore of the balance Rs 14,000 crore to be paid to investors.

The SC asks Roy to be present in court on June 19, the next date of hearing.

The court also extends Subrata Roy’s parole till June 19.

The court told Roy to pay Rs 2550 crore by June 15 or go to jail. “Your offer looks like a mirage, sometimes like a sprinkle,” the court said.
