Pachpaoli cops seize 35 kg of ganja worth Rs 3.57 lakh from car-borne drug peddler

Ganja seized by Pachpaoli Police
Nagpur: Close on the heels of major haul of ganja worth Rs 31 lakh by Anti-Narcotics Cell of Crime Branch, the Pachpaoli cops nabbed a drug peddler and seized 35 kg of ganja worth Rs 3.57 lakh from his possession. Interestingly, the accused was arrested by Ajni police in 2016 under NDPS Act but released on bail a month ago.

Pachpaoli Senior Police Inspector Narendra Hiwre received inputs that the accused named Kudrat Khan was again in the dealing of narcotics in a big way. Acting on the tip off, the PI deputed DB Squad on the trail of the accused. The squad kept a close watch and came to know that the accused was carrying the narcotics in his Xylo car (MH-37/AR 7786). The cops raided the place and stopped the car. Upon frisking of the car, cops found 35 kg of wet ganja worth Rs 3.57 lakh. The narcotics and the car worth Rs 8 lakh was seized by the cops.

The task was carried out by PSI R Ingle, ASI Pramod Rokde, Ashok Pund, constable Suresh Sejav, NPCs Rakesh Tiwari, Pradeep Pawar, Vinod Gaekwad, sepoys Deepak Sarate, Vijay Jane, Sanjay Rathod, Shambhusingh Kirar under the guidance of higher officials.
