A farmer from Bhage Maheri village in Parsheoni Tehsil attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison. He has since been admitted to Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment.

The farmer has been identified as Domoji Kakde aged 63 years and a resident of Bhage Maheri village. According to police sources, Damoji Kakde had consumed poison after going to his farm land a few days ago. He was rushed to a hospital in Parsheoni. From there the farmer was sent to Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment. Damoji had some nagging and pending loans. He was depressed because of these loans.

Bhage Maheri is the same village where Actor Shakti Kapoor’s film “Gram Pareshanpur” and Director Kamaljit Singh’s film “Baishakhiwala Mela” was shot. Damoji is the first farmer from this village surrounded by natural splendor to attempt to commit suicide. Greenery always seems to be abundantly found in this village since this village is adjacent to a big lake which fulfills the water requirements of all the villages.
