On the day of dhuliwandan, the duo are going to have a ‘vicharmanthan’ ( thorough discussion) on all issues facing the Modi Government in Delhi and the nation in general.

It is specially the new Land acquisition Bill that is a major bone of contention for Modi right now. While some of his cabinet colleagues and advisors are suggesting modifications to satisfy detractors Prime Minister Modi is not ready or willing to give away even an inch. He is sticking to the bill as it is and has challenged people to come out on the streets and fight for it, if called for. Speaking at a function in M.P. he even targeted some scathing criticism towards Anna Hazare saying “patriotism, as practised by Gandhiji, did not mean sitting on a dharna everyday. ”

The point of worry for BJP though is that a section of RSS is also not in favour of the bill and thinks it is anti farmer. This is the last straw for the Government given that all the opposition parties – and allies like Shiv Sena – are aligned together against the bill. They want at least RSS in their corner on this one.

It is to discuss this and other contentious issues that Shah is learnt to be making this visit to Nagpur today. Another issue that will definitely be discussed is BJP – PDP government in J&K about which also there is disquiet in the Sangh.

While CM, Devendra Fadnavis is also slated to be in Nagpur today, Gadkari as per his prior plans is in Tadoba with his family. He is expected to come back to the city tomorrow evening.
