Nagpur: Some people can do anything to take vengeance. In a similar incident, last night i.e. May 23, 2016, a 65 year old woman was murdered by sharp edged knives in Binaki Sonar Toli.
The deceased woman is identified as Jyoti Pappu Shende. The case of the murder of the 65-year-old Jyoti was registered in Yashodhara Police Station.
The accused Mahendra Binekar was arrested for the murder of the old lady.
According to Police Sources, Kapil Pappu Shende had an argument with Mahendra Binekar over a previous enmity. When the argument reached violent proportions, both started thrashing each other. When the mother of the Kapil Pappu Shende Jyoti saw the physical altercation, she went to intervene and separate the two.
However, the accused Mahendra Binekar enraged over her interference attacked the deceased Jyoti on her eyes. After this he started assaulting her with knife on her back and stomach. This stabbing that the deceased received from the assailant caused her to die on the spot. Sources claimed that there was a long pending dispute going on between Binekar and Shende family.
On receipt of information, the Yashodhara Police reached the spot and after finishing the formalities dispatched the dead body to Government Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem.
A case of murder was registered against the accused in Yashodhara Police Station under Sections 302 of Indian Penal Code and initiated an investigation. After investigations, the cops managed to arrest the accused Mahendra Binekar.
