One-day international between Australia and India at the Sydney Cricket Ground was abandoned due to rain.

After a delayed start, Australia won the toss and asked india to bat first. The Indian innings lasted just 16 overs before the players were forced from the field.
India were 69 for two, with opener Ajinkya Rahane on 28 and Virat Kohli on 3.

The result sees both sides collect two points, meaning India’s meeting with England in Perth on Friday is effectively a semi-final to see who joins Australia in the final at the same venue two days later.

India recalled paceman Ishant Sharma and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja for the game, but neither saw any action.
