Now, teachers, non-teaching staff of private Ayurvedic colleges to get pension, gratuity

Nagpur.

In a significant decision, Maharashtra Government has decided to extend retirement benefits and gratuity scheme to teachers and non-teaching staff of four aided private Ayurved Colleges in State. The decision was taken in the Cabinet meeting held on Friday.

The beneficiaries of colleges include Nagpur-based Shri Ayurved College, Amravati-based Vidarbha Ayurved College, Mozri-based Shri Gurudeo Ayurved College and Yavatmal-based D M M Ayurved College. The Ayurved Vikas Manch had demanded Education Minister Vinod Tawde to resolve problems of Ayurved students, teachers, Ayurved practitioners, and non-teaching staff of these four colleges. Subsequently, the Minister Tawde put up the proposal before the Maharashtra Cabinet which approved it. Now, the teachers and non-teaching staff will get the retirement benefits, gratuity and other benefits.
