Notices to schools conducting classes during summer holidays

Nagpur: Summers are the time meant for holidaying for children who get some change from the school routine for two months. As per the rules this time holidays are till June 26 while schools will open from June 27. But many schools in the city have already started the schools putting the rules at stake. While many schools are conducting classes in school premises in the name of extra Classes. Now the district administration has prepared to take action against such school management.

It turned out that many parents have complained to the education officer in this regard. After this, Education Officer Dipendra Lokhande has issued notices to the concerned schools as per the directives of the Collector Sachin Kurwe.

Instructions have been given that if the school would be started before the holidays then strict action would be taken on the related schools.

About this, the District primary education officer, Dipendra Lokhande, informed that few days back he had received complaints that the children are being called in the school by the principals even before the opening date. The notice has been given to the concerned schools on the basis of complaint. However, the education officers did not name such schools.
